About JET Architects

Your award-winning, responsible, energy-efficient and eco-friendly design partner

About Us & Our Work

JET Architects, LLC was started in 2016 by architect Joshua Tunick after two decades of work as a builder, contractor, master furniture maker, designer, and architect. This multi-faceted approach to architecture is what sets JET Architects apart.

Our team members have designed and managed large educational, commercial, civic, religious, and residential projects with multi-million dollar budgets, as well as smaller scale residential projects with budgets in the thousands. We bring the same enthusiasm and design philosophy to all of our projects. We pride ourselves on our approach — we listen to your needs and desires then help guide you through the design, bid, and construction process.

JET Architects was founded with the goal to make buildings more energy-efficient, cost effective, and durable. We bring over a decade of experience with Net-Zero, Passive House, LEED, and other energy-efficient building solutions. We have the know-how to bring enormous savings to your project over the life of the building, at little (and often no) additional cost, and how to do so in a way that accentuates your design goals.

Our Team

Joshua Tunick, AIA

Architect & Founder

Mission Statement

Joshua founded JET Architects in 2016 after becoming frustrated with the status quo approach to architecture inherent in the larger firms he had worked in. Being a small, nimble firm affords Joshua the ability to give each project its proper attention, and produce work that makes a difference in people’s lives. Tunick’s 20 + years of experience in building and design allow him to view a project through many lenses, and surround the design challenge from all sides. This unique perspective also allows for better communication and coordination with the various trades and team members.
